May be a clogged fuel filter. If you change it yourself you need to relieve the pressure first or you will get a face full of gas when you loosen the filter line.
You won't find a gas filter on a diesel engine.
On the outside of the tank underneath the car. Easy to change but messy with gas, so get something for the gas to leak into, or hold the line with your finger (if you can) while changing out the filter i guess. Gas or diesel?

No.. just open the gas feel up door take out that caoutchouc protection then you'll find 6 bolts take this cover out fuel pump is attached to it ..easy
Sounds like a fuel pump or filter problem.
