replace hub or wheel bearings.
New CV joints will fix the grinding noise
A grinding noise usually indicated bad wheel bearings.
Check the front brakes. the most common problem for grinding is worn brake pads allowing the metal backer to rub the rotor.
Most likely a bad axle
Tie-Rod End may be going out. I'm thinking front wheel bearing.
Maybe tirod end or ball joint Check strut bearings.
a bad brake caliper or pad.
Could be the brakes are gone or it could be a hub and bearing assembly about to fall off the front of your car.
I think it's called an engine
The noise you are hearing is the engine running. If you have not started it yet, then it may be an animal eating your hoses and wiring.
if the noise comes from the front end while you rev the engine, and not alot of sound comes from the tailpipe, check the exhaust from the front back for cracks or breaks. it sounds like an exhaust leak to me.
It is the fan blower for the engine cooling system (Radiator)
