I know what you are thinking. There is this huge bar cutting diagonally across the battery preventing it from coming out. While I'm not looking at my car at the moment, it boils down to removing that bar. You need wrenches, etc. to remove the bar. Then remove the cables from the battery posts as usual. Then you should be able to wiggle the battery out. You should replace the bar when the new battery is in because that bar seems to be structural support for the car frame.
