Through your dipstick tube. The dipstick tube is fairly hard to find. It is behind the engine on the driver's side way down low. Look for a square yellow top. The dipstick is held in place by a metal leaf-type spring. Make sure the spring snaps back into place when you replace the dipstick. Also, because the dipstick tube is down so low, you will need a long funnel or funnel with a hose to add the fluid. IPD stocks a good one.

If your Volvo S90 won't shift into park from drive, it could be due to a few common issues. One possibility is a malfunctioning brake light switch, which prevents the gear shift from moving out of drive when the brake pedal isn't engaged. Additionally, low transmission fluid or a problem with the transmission itself may also cause shifting issues. It's advisable to consult a professional mechanic or your local dealership for a thorough diagnosis.

To add coolant to a Volvo S90, locate the coolant reservoir, which is typically found near the front of the engine bay, marked with a cap labeled for coolant. Make sure the engine is cool before opening the cap to avoid injury. Carefully pour the appropriate coolant mixture into the reservoir, ensuring it reaches the recommended level indicated on the side of the tank. Always consult your owner's manual for specific instructions and coolant specifications.

It's the hazard switch. I have a 1998 s90 and if you take a small screwdriver and insert it into the bottom of the hazard switch (on the dash) and gently pry it, it will pop out.
the flasher is integral within the hazard switch in the dash
If your 1998 Volvo S90 won't shift into park and does not start in neutral, it may indicate an issue with the shift interlock system or the transmission linkage. Check for any obstructions or damage to the gear selector mechanism. Additionally, ensure that the brake pedal is fully depressed when trying to shift gears, as this can affect the interlock system. If the problem persists, consider consulting a mechanic for further diagnosis.
