Through your dipstick tube. The dipstick tube is fairly hard to find. It is behind the engine on the driver's side way down low. Look for a square yellow top. The dipstick is held in place by a metal leaf-type spring. Make sure the spring snaps back into place when you replace the dipstick. Also, because the dipstick tube is down so low, you will need a long funnel or funnel with a hose to add the fluid. IPD stocks a good one.

Why does your Volvo S90 not shift into park from drive?

If your Volvo S90 won't shift into park from drive, it could be due to a few common issues. One possibility is a malfunctioning brake light switch, which prevents the gear shift from moving out of drive when the brake pedal isn't engaged. Additionally, low transmission fluid or a problem with the transmission itself may also cause shifting issues. Check for any obstructions or damage to the gear selector mechanism. Additionally, ensure that the brake pedal is fully depressed when trying to shift gears, as this can affect the interlock system. If the problem persists, consider consulting a mechanic for further diagnosis.
