First, you need a 9mm Allen key! yes 9mm! If you can find a 10mm and grind i down (like I did) you're set. I'm guessing Ford made it that size so you would get it done at a Ford dealership. When you buy your pads, follow the instructions they come with. It doesn't hurt to buy a brake kit either. Remember to go SLOWLY when compressing the hydraulics.

No there is not. Our 2008 escape just needed a new abs system. It cost us $1200 including towing. Ford would not cover it as it is not a recall.
