To add automatic transmission fluid to a 1960 Ford Thunderbird, locate the transmission dipstick tube, which is usually found near the rear of the engine bay. Pull out the dipstick, wipe it clean, and reinsert it to check the fluid level. To add fluid, use a funnel to pour the appropriate type of automatic transmission fluid into the dipstick tube, ensuring not to overfill. Always check the owner's manual for specific fluid recommendations and capacity.
