To adjust an Edelbrock carburetor, start by ensuring the engine is at operating temperature. Adjust the idle speed screw to achieve the desired RPM, typically around 600-800 RPM for most engines. Next, fine-tune the air-fuel mixture by turning the mixture screws clockwise to lean the mixture or counterclockwise to enrich it, aiming for the highest stable RPM while adjusting. Finally, check the performance under load and make any necessary adjustments to the idle and mixture settings accordingly.
