I have a 2005 rx8, dunno if its the same for later years but here it goes:
1.) 1st make sure the actual key is out
2.) You might not see it but there's a latch to unlock it where the key usually sits on, use a flash light & then pry it with a tweezer or something similar.
3.) The whole top portion is suppose to come off after that..
4.) Now look at the bottom part of the key where the chain holder is, there's also a lock that's small that you need to pry again, it's really small and a pain but with patience, you can take it out.
5.) Change batteries.
Disconnect the battery, or insert key into door lock and unlock.
at least 70AH any battery with the proper dimensions
To reset the keyless entry system for a Mazda RX-8, start by sitting inside the vehicle and closing all doors. Insert the key into the ignition and turn it to the "On" position without starting the engine. Press the "Lock" button on the key fob, then turn the ignition off and remove the key. Finally, test the key fob to ensure the keyless entry system has been reset. If issues persist, consult your owner's manual or a professional for further assistance.
spark plugs are near the battery.
It's under the hood, near the front, covered by a plastic cover.
immobilizer is in the key and pickup ring on the ignition lock
You can't. It is part of the fuel pump.
disconnect + battery terminal for 60 seconds then re- connect.
The RX has an imobilizer system. IF it does not recognize the proper key, it will automatically set itself off. If the key light on your dash is flashing red, you need to replace the key battery. If not than you would have to take it to a dealership to get it re programed.
Depends on what that fuse is protecting. My advice is leave it alone.
Just push it a few feet with the ignition switch turned on and pop the clutch.
change the body style of it which is like a thousand something dollars
