seem like this is a big poblem on this model. bought mine used 2yrs ago and have changed three of them since. 2 in last three mos. bought at autozone, wells product. easy to change. park truck, turn sterring wheel all way to right, located under right side cylindrer head. cant miss it. one small bolt holds it in place. disconnect wire harness, pull sensor out, has small o ring seal on it, slightly oil new o ring on new sensor, align bolt hole so you dont need to twist new sensor to align hole once it is in place,,,,this could damage new o ring seal, youll see what i mean,,,,make sure it pops in when you push new sensor in place..then replace bolt and harness.....should be good to go. run truck awhile to reset engine light, or have it reset by store or just disconnect pos bat cable for 30sec.
Right side against the fire wall-real pain to change
I think it is near front grill in front of radiator
Put on your seatbelt. Now if the sensor is defective, take it back to the dealer. It is under warranty.

To change the temperature sensor on a 2005 Dodge Magnum, first ensure the engine is cool and disconnect the negative battery terminal. Locate the coolant temperature sensor, which is typically positioned near the thermostat housing. Remove the electrical connector, then unscrew the sensor using a socket or wrench. Install the new sensor, reconnect the electrical connector, and reconnect the battery terminal.
