loosen track, tip machine enough to remove screw on one side front of slider, use a screwdriver/hammer to move the slider towards the back of the machine and through a track cog hole, may have to slightly pry it through to start, keep moving it back until out, measure old to new after removal, cut new to same size and tap through the same hole until screw hole lines up in front, put screw in. tip machine on other side and repeat. I took and used the small piece I cut to make slider the correct size as a sacrificial stiking device so as to not dammage the new slider. after second one is on, tighten track back up to spec and allign and good to go. Probably one hour from start to finish.
To change the sliders on a 2012 Ski-Doo Summit SP, first, elevate the snowmobile and secure it on a stable platform. Remove the rear suspension by unbolting it from the tunnel and the track's rear. Slide out the old sliders and replace them with new ones, ensuring they are properly aligned. Reassemble the suspension and double-check all bolts for security before testing.
