no need to loosen the lines. only simple tools needed. move stuff out of the way, and bang it out. watch what your doing and try to understand it. its very simple, look at it one part at a time On a 2.0 litre engine the alternator belt is blocked by the front belt that drives the Power Steering pump. You need to remove the power steering pump belt to get to the alternator belt. For both belts there is a tension bolt mounted on the power steering pump and the alternator, respectively. Loosne that bolt to relieve the tension on the belts and then remove them. Replace the belts and tighten the bolts to the proper tension. There is not much room to reach the alternator tension bolt so you may have to unmount a few hard powersteering lines to reach it.
