The information in the "tips" is totally inaccurate. The rubber plug on the right side of the transmission is a FILL plug. The drain plug is on the bottom of the pan but does not drain all of the fluid. To do that you must remove the pan (which includes slightly jacking the transmission off from its cross member). The drain plug also comes into play after adding 6.5 quarts of Dexron-VI Transmission Fluid where the car is started, placed in neutral, allowed to run for one minute and then, while still running and level, you remove the plug to allow the excess fluid to drip out (about .5 quart). This filling process assures you have the proper fill amount. For a very detailed video, I suggest you watch this: http://youtu.be/Vk7nIrNb4zU
