Actually there is no dipstick, there is a sight glass on the left lower side of motor with 2 marks on the case . The upper mark is the full level. You can see the oil thru the round glass sight glass

locate oil drain plug on engine sump pan, drain oil. remove filter, add a little oil to the gasket of new filter, install new filter, do not overtighten, usually, hand tight plus a third of a turn. put in new oil, filler cap will be a flush mount on top side of the lower tranmission case.
