How do you change the rear brake light on a Peugeot 5008?

Peugeot do their best to make this a job you have to pay for, but you can do it if you have a T30 Torx

wrench, a 10mm socket spanner with extension and a small amount of bravery. The brake light bulb looks like a fancy array of LEDs,

but it isn't. Its a very standard 12v bayonet fitting car bulb behind a fancy diffuser.

Open the boot.
Just below the plastic covering the bottom of the gas strut is a disc. Stick your T30 Torx

wrench in there and turn it 90 degrees.

Now jiggle the plastic cover off being careful not to snap it. Like the rest of the car, it is made of cheese.
Now, at the top and bottom of the space you have uncovered are 10mm hexagonal nuts. Remove these with your socket and extension.
Now for the hard bit: remove the whole light cluster by pulling it backwards towards the rear of the car. Be careful not to snap off any other bits of cheese. Its hard because there isn't really much to hang on to. It isn't held on by anything else apart from a plastic stalk on the cluster sticking in a hole on the bodywork. This will suddenly come undone with a snap and you'll be holding the whole cluster.

Look around the back of it. Gently ease off the black plastic panel with wires attached. You'll have

to gently bend the tabs.
Now you can see the bulb. Twist a few degrees anticlockwise and pull out.

When reassembling, make sure you get the raised white plastic button on the side of the car in the slot on the light cluster. Don't over tighten the 10mm nuts!
