Make sure you get the Transmission Fluid kit from a hayudai dealer first. On a 95 accent I drained the fluid from the pan on the driver side by opening the nut on the left side (sitting in driver seat). After that I dropped the pan by unscrewing all the nuts on the pan. I removed the filter and replaced it. Then I removed the magnets from the pan and checked and removed all particles. I finally added fluid to the transmission check dipstick hole till it was at the right level. The shifter must be in neutral the get the proper reading.
if it's an automatic you can replace it with any accent automatic transmission from 1995 to 1999, you will have to change the neutral safety switch on the transmission on some trans. cheers!!!!!
The 2000 Hyundai Accent typically requires about 7.4 quarts (approximately 7 liters) of automatic transmission fluid when performing a complete transmission fluid change, including the torque converter. For a simple drain and refill, around 4 quarts (approximately 3.8 liters) may be sufficient. Always consult the owner's manual for specific recommendations and fluid specifications.
how do i change the spark plugs on a 2006 hyundai accent
The automatic transmission filter is in the transmission. It has an internal filter just like it has an internal gas filter in the gas tank.

The 2008 Hyundai Accent typically requires about 6.5 quarts of transmission fluid when performing a complete fluid change with a filter replacement. If you're only topping off, it generally takes less than a quart, depending on the current level. Always check the owner's manual for specific details and recommendations for the type of transmission fluid to use.
