Did you mean how to check your brake fluid? If you open the hood of the van, on the drivers side up near the firewall there will be your booster and master cylinder. On top of that is your reservoir . There should be indicator lines telling you if its full or if it should be added to. As far as checking the fluid in the lines, the only way is to bleed your brakes. Always start with the brake that is farthest from the master cylender with is usually the pass. rear brake then work to the drivers side rear, then pass front the drivers side brake..

It is on the drivers side of the vehicle , near the firewall ( that's the metal wall that divides the engine compartment from the passenger compartment ) It is a plastic reservoir that allows you to check the brake fluid level just by looking ( you only need to remove the cap if the brake fluid level is not up to the full mark and you are going to add the DOT 3 brake fluid that is required

Check your brake fluid.
Check you brake fluid and the brake switch on the proportioning value. If the fluid level is ok then disconnect the switch to see if the light goes out. Also check the parking brake switch.
