The best way to change the Transmission Fluid in a 2005KIA Sedona is to first drive the vehicle up on ramps. This will allow easier access to the drain bolt. Make sure to place the drain pan a few inches behind the actual bolt, because the fluid will hit the frame and run towards the rear of the vehicle. You will need a 24mm box end wrench to get the drain plug out. The plug will only drop down to the frame and will not come all the way out of the hole unless you CAREFULLY apply pressure to the transmission with a jack. There will probably be a lot of shavings on the plug which is what is supposed to happen. Make sure to clean the plug of well. The reinstall the plug, remove the jack from under the transmission, and service the vehicle as stated in the owners manual.
