A leak in this area is almost always one of 2 things. Either your heater core is leaking or the drain line on the A/C condenser is stopped up. Another possibility is a windshield leak, but not likely. If the fluid smells or tastes sweet it is coolant and you need to replace the heater core. If it is just water, look under the truck, passenger side near the firewall and find the condenser drain line. Use a blunt object such as an unsharpened pencil and clean out the line. Another possibility: I have a Dodge dakota that had this problem. I ended up tearing out the entire interior bc I was so frustrated. I couldn't find the source. After I did this I realized the rear sliding glass window was leaking and the water was pooling in the drivers side floor board area.
Driving, turning, and stopping. Thats about it.
