To fix the 1998 Honda Passport odometer, simply take it to a professional mechanic or refer to the service and user manual.
You cannot. It is part of the odometer and (in the US) it is unlawful to tamper with the odometer unit.

Replace the instrument cluster and have someone set the odometer correctly or you could face jail time.
To fix the windshield wipers on a 1998 Honda Passport, first check the wiper blades for wear and replace them if necessary. Inspect the wiper motor and the fuse; if the fuse is blown, replace it. If the motor isn't functioning, you may need to replace it or check the wiring for any issues. Finally, ensure the wiper arms are properly attached to the motor spline to avoid any operational problems.
TAke it to a speedo shop as something is wrong in the speedo itself.
To fix the mileage odometer on a 1995 Honda Accord, first, check the speedometer cable and connections for any damage or disconnection. If the cable is intact, you may need to remove the instrument cluster to inspect the odometer gears for wear or malfunction. Replacing the odometer gears or the entire instrument cluster may be necessary if they're damaged. If you're not comfortable with these repairs, consider consulting a professional mechanic for assistance.
If the odometer also quits, the problem is probably the speed sensor or wiring to it. If the odometer keeps turning when the spedo quits, it is in the spedo itself and needs to go to the speedo shop.
check fuse
Everyone should have a manual, and the library should have a professional shop manual available for copies in the reference section (FOR FREE)...read up and fix 'em like the pro's...! :) Dave
If the odometer has failed, does the speedometer still work? They are both driven by a cable which spins. If the speedometer is still working, than the odometer has jammed. Probably a dealer fix.

To fix a non-working odometer on a 1994 Honda Accord, first check the speedometer cable for any damage or disconnection, as a faulty cable can prevent the odometer from functioning. If the cable is intact, inspect the instrument cluster for any signs of damage or malfunction, and consider removing it to examine the gears and connections inside. Additionally, the issue might stem from a faulty odometer gear, which may need to be replaced. If you're not comfortable with these repairs, it's advisable to consult a professional mechanic.
