To remove the fuel flap on a 2002 Renault Scenic, first, ensure the vehicle is securely parked and the ignition is off. Locate the hinge area of the flap and gently pry it open to access the retaining clips. Carefully release the clips or screws holding the flap in place, then pull the flap away from the body of the car. Be cautious not to damage any surrounding components during the removal process.
Scenic 1.. Inside the rear wing, there are 2 X 10mm nut. Normally covered in road crud. Clean them first and the saturate in wd-40. Leave a while and then undo. Scenic fuel cap locks operate with the door system - it's a security thing - if you use the remote to unlock your doors then you will find the fuel flap will open. Of course it will lock when you use the remote to lock the doors.
The fuses are found ( at least on My 2001 version ) behind a plastic flap which can be pulled out just under the dash on the right hand side, This holds most of the fuses
if you still have the old one and it has simply fallen off then hold it up to the hinge in the open position and from the top use a flat bladed screwdriver to prise open the strong metal spring clip that holds it in place. As you open the spring clip gently manoeuvre the flap back into position and you will feel the spring clip grip the flap back into position. If you have broken the flap and have a new or second hand part to fit then you simply undo the bolts that hold the hinge to the body and re secure your replacement flap.If your old flap is stuck in the closed position and the electric motor that unlocks the flap is not working then look inside the small compartment on the drivers side in the boot space and you will find the manual release mechanism.Good luck.

To replace the fuel flap on a Vauxhall Corsa, first open the fuel flap and locate the hinge and any retaining screws. Remove the old fuel flap by unscrewing or unclipping it from the hinge. Align the new fuel flap with the hinge and secure it in place by tightening the screws or reattaching the clips. Finally, check that the flap opens and closes properly.
To open a stuck fuel filler flap on a Renault Clio, first, check if there's a manual release mechanism in the trunk or near the driver's seat, often labeled. If that doesn't work, gently pry the flap open using a flat tool, being careful not to damage the paint. If the flap remains stuck, you may need to inspect the hinge or latch for debris or damage. As a last resort, consult a professional mechanic for assistance.
Hi, there are two, one is behind a flap on the end of the dashboard, accessible when you open the drivers door. Another is under the bonnet near the battery, it has a plastic cover over it. On the new Renault Laguna, known as the Lagune 3, the fusebox is in the glove box, behind a little flap that pulls down.
