How do you jump start the 96 Monte Carlo are there any other Battery points other than where the battery is located?
There should be a positive post in between the washer fluid tank and the relay box. It came with a stock red plastic cover with a "+" on it but this may have been removed by a former owner. Hook your hot or red jumper to that and you can ground the black jumper on any unpainted metal under the hood...like a motor mount bolt.
