In addition,I suggest purchasing a $10 multimeter, you can benchcheck the ignition coil in question, which the manual will provide you with a step-by-step procedure. WARNING: If you have one bad ignition coil, get prepared to change more...this seems to be a common problem with the Maxima and Infiniti I30s. The dealership charges an outrageous price for these,but I suggest Auto Zone (Wells igntion) or the likes for purchasing these for if you have to replace all six this might save you $300 or more. your owners manuel should have the cylinder designations
