Install a blow off valve, it releases excess pressure from the intake side of the turbo
This'll Make You Whistle was created in 1936.
I whistle when I'm scared.Sometimes, I whistle but only make a blowing sound.I whistle to keep a good mood.
Most diesel engines are turbodiesels, and the whistling is the sound of the turbo spooling up as it creates boost.
Built in turbo? That would be your answer. You have the TDI engine, huh? Great engine. Is this your first new diesel? If it's a turbo diesel, you probably have a leak in the boost.
The same way any other whistle would work. You blow and it makes sound. Where here your exhaust does the blowing
Dogs can't whistle... Oh, wait a minute... purchase a "dog whistle" from a pet store, then imitate its' qualities.
You have to whisper in the library so you won't disturb people who are reading.
To answer the "When gas pedal is released makes a whistle sound like jet plane landing" question, do you have the turbo model? If so, its the unused air pressure built up by the turbo while you were accelerating.
If it is a turbo, it could be the turbo winding up. I had an Audi with 2.7 T engine that would whistle / whine when accelerating. You could have an air leak in the inlet manifold or plenum.
That is the correct spelling of "whistle" (a sound or a noisemaker, or to make sound or music with the lips).
I use to have this problem, Most of the time the noise that make it sound like a whistle or Turbo noise. Its the seals are leaking its ether header or Manafold. Get a new gasket for ether of those. Use a Brake Spray to test it out!
To use a dog whistle to stop your dogs from barking, blow the whistle when they bark and then reward them when they stop. Over time, they will learn to associate the sound of the whistle with being quiet. Be consistent and patient in training your dogs to respond to the whistle.
