To mount a fuel tank, first ensure that the mounting area is clean and free of debris. Position the tank in place, aligning it with the designated mounting points on the vehicle's chassis. Secure the tank using appropriate bolts or straps, ensuring they are tightened to the manufacturer's specifications. Finally, connect any necessary fuel lines and electrical connections, checking for leaks before use.
You can use the stock tank, and mount the electric fuel pump outside the tank. There is no need to change tanks.
You have to remove the fuel tank. The pump is inside the tank in a plastic mount. Its about a 4 hour job in and out.

Yes, if you can find a place to mount it.
Sometimes. Depends on the vehicle and the year. On my 1990 model, the fuel pump is in the tank. You can check yours by looking at the fuel tank from underneath the left (or right) rear of the car. The tank is located forward of the rear axle. The portal for the fuel tank which includes the the mount for the fuel pump (internal to the tank) is located in the center of the upper rear side of the tank. Tubes and electrical converge there, too.
It is by the rear wheel near the fuel tank.
