you need a socket set with an extension

1. open the hood

2. located the 4 bolts holding on the bumper just in front of the radiator

3. remove one bolt from each side

4. have a friend hold one side of the bumper while you remove the last 2 bolts

having a friend there is important cuz dak bumpers are oddly weighted and hard to carry by your self

How do you remove rear bumper on Dodge Magnum?

To remove the rear bumper on a Dodge Magnum, first, ensure the vehicle is turned off and parked on a flat surface. Begin by removing any screws or bolts located in the wheel wells and underneath the bumper, typically found near the rear fender and the rear frame. Next, detach any clips or fasteners holding the bumper in place, and carefully pull the bumper away from the car, starting from one side. Finally, disconnect any electrical connections for lights if applicable before fully removing the bumper.

How do you remove a fender and bumper from a 1998 Dodge Dakota pickup?

You have to have a little mechanic ability to unbolt them and reinstall them. ^^^^that is a given, here is a step by step instruction on how to remove the bumper on a Dodge Dakota 98-99 (i'm sure it's the same for a few other years mainly generation 2 Dakota's), and a list of tools needed. Tools needed: 18 mm Socket and a ratchet WD-40/PB Blaster #2 Phillips bit screwdriver / flat head (in order to remove bumper cover) how to remove the bumper: 1.) pop your hood and open it all the way 2.) look down in front of your coolant overflow tank and just to the left of the radiator 3.) remove the four 18mm bolts from bumper 4.) pull bumper out (if you need to remove the brakets that the bumper is bolted to then you need a T50 star bit and a 3/4 inch socket with a 6" extention)
