just been chating to a bloke around the corner he has a mark 1 mondeo and changed his bumper.Taking it of if fiddley 4 bolts at the bottom and screws at the side. You might have to drop your exhaust a bit to get at bolt
The rear bumper of a Mondeo MK2 does not fit a MK1. The two models have different designs and dimensions, leading to incompatibility. While some components may be similar, the rear bumper's shape and mounting points are distinct between the two generations. Therefore, if you're looking for a replacement or upgrade, it's best to use parts specifically designed for the MK1.
No it won't I'm afraid, they're just too different.
What ever you do, make sure the new one has the brackets intact that fix it to the wheel arch, i didnt, big problems
yes mate it will no modifications will be needed at all. the zetec -s body kit fits directly onto mk1 and mk2 mondeo's |The "Zetec S" bumper will fit the zetec engined models but will not fit the V6 as the exhaust exit for the V6 is on the right hand side. So in a nutshell Zetec S (RSAP) rear bumper will fit the 2.0, 1.8 & 1.6 models (exhaust on left) and the ST24 (RSAP) bumper will fit the V6 (exhaust on right) It also depends on model of car. Only the Saloon and Hatchback are interchangeable, the estate bumpers are completley different Hope it helps :-)
Try the Haynes Manual.
easy, remove 2 bolts on each side underneath, slide it off backwards making sure you dont lose or bend guides, slide new one on and put bolts back in 10 min job
depends on the shape of your mondeo
Yes, it is behind the rear nearside light cluster. Just remove the panels and it will be a little orange plastic box prably clipped onto the body wrok by the hole to get to the rear of the lights.
Try mirez.co.uk . There is a list of fuse no's under general info
just take the door card off and unscrew the speaker!
To remove a Mondeo MK2 tailgate spoiler, start by locating the screws or bolts securing the spoiler to the tailgate, usually found underneath or at the sides. Use a screwdriver or socket wrench to remove these fasteners. Once detached, gently lift the spoiler off the tailgate, taking care not to damage the paint or the spoiler itself. If it's glued down, you may need to carefully pry it off with a flat tool.
