To change the heater motor on a Vectra C, first, disconnect the car battery for safety. Remove the glove compartment to access the heater motor, then disconnect any wiring and screws securing the motor in place. Replace the old motor with the new one, reassemble everything, and reconnect the battery. Test the heater to ensure it is functioning properly.
To fit a wiper stalk on a 2006 Vectra C, first disconnect the battery to ensure safety. Remove the steering column cover by unscrewing any screws and gently prying it off. Disconnect the old wiper stalk from its connector and replace it with the new one, ensuring it is securely attached. Finally, reassemble the steering column cover and reconnect the battery to test the new stalk.
You need to remove the wiper motor and linkage assembly. Then disconnect the motor from the linkage, and turn on the wipers, to see if the motor is running or not. Then when you have the linkage out, manaully move back and forth to see if its binding or not. Usually a bad motor. Unfortunately, MB seems to have many problems with the wiper blade motors.
First check fuses, relays to wiper motor. Then check power to wiper motor. Then check linkage to wiper motor.
You will probably have to remove the cowl that covers the linkage. When you do that, the linkage should come out then. There are probably C clips connecting the individual wiper arms to the linkage.
wiper motor arm has a small c-clip to remove and then same arm other end has a ball type that you pry off with a small cats paw type bar or screwdriver. this will remove the short wiper motor arm and then you can remove both wiper arms out thru slots in windshield frame. Be sure to remove plastic nuts on both wipers on front side of windshield frame.
To replace the front wiper motor on a Corsa, first, disconnect the vehicle's battery to ensure safety. Remove the wiper arms by loosening their securing nuts, then detach the plastic covers from the base of the windshield to access the motor. Unscrew the motor from its mounting and disconnect the wiring harness. Install the new motor by reversing these steps, ensuring everything is securely fastened before reconnecting the battery and testing the wipers.
There is a C clip that holds them on.
Will a tow bar of a vectra b fit a vectra c
Do your wipers raise with the switch, but fail to return to the lower position? I'm dealing with this problem right now with a customer. I have replaced the switch on the column since 90% of the time, that is the problem. Quick, cheap fix...but it didn't fix it. The motor is the culprit. This should take about 2 hours to remove and replace.
