You should consult a cellphone repair expert for a device inspection
There is no reset for the battery (charging system) warning light. It is on because there is a problem. Once you repair the problem the light will go out. More than likely the alternator has failed.
Battery out. Leave it to dry for a couple of days. Try a different battery; sim card; charging; not charging (try all combinations). Take it to a repair shop.
if it stalls when you remove positive battery terminal then your alternator is bad Yes, it could be the alternator, but I have an 89 Celebrity and when I first got it we had the same problem and would die out every few minutes and need a boost. We changed the alternator, did not help. We bought a Duralast Gold battery from Auto Zone which helped a little but did not fix the problem. We then took the car to an alternator repair shop called Gabby's in Knoxville TN and they replaced a large fuse under the dashboard and I never had the problem again. Cost me $5.00.
That depends on what's wrong with it. Often it's just the battery, in which case, just replace the battery. But it could be part of the charging system or the inverter, in which case you'll need to have some ability with electronic troubleshooting and repair.
It usually means that your alternator (or generator) is not charging the battery. At this point you need to check system voltage with a voltmeter when the engine is running. You should see at least 13.5 to 14.5 volts. If it is less than that, it is not charging. You can also have the charging checked at a repair shop if you don't have a voltmeter.
Indicates a problem with the electrical charging system. Can be a bad battery, alternator, loose alternator drive belt, corroded battery connections, or ground connections. Normally this would indicate a problem with the alternator but not always. Most auto parts stores will check the system free of charge, if you buy the repair parts from them, which would only be appropriate.
the regulator in your alternator must be in trouble remove the alternator and take it to an alternator repair shop or fit a new alternator
The battery warning light illuminates when the battery isn't being charged , get it checked out to find the problem and then repair.
Plug the charger cable in and try to switch the PSP on. If it manages to boot up properly, then the problem is with your battery. Either the battery itself is damaged, or the internal connections that allow it to charge up, are damaged. Try charging over USB instead. If it still won't boot up even with the charger cable in, then that sounds like firmware corruption, ie 'bricking'. Not much you can do apart from look for a repair place.
Sounds like you need a battery. Use a digital multimeter and when the car is running check the voltage at the battery to make sure you have over 13 volts. This indicates the alternator is charging. If the battery is bad the alternator should be charging over 13 volts easily.
