1. Buy the correct-fit replacement. The Mazda 5 (at least 2006-2009) takes a special 12" rear wiper blade for the special rear arm. Your dealer will have them (may be expensive) or you may want to look into "Trico Exact Fit Rear Integral Blades" that fit these new special arms - you can find them online. (there may be others available too)
The good news is - specialized rear arms do not automatically mean the wiper blade is difficult to change - it just means you need to get the right blade for easy (and successful) installation.
