To replace the door handle on a Honda Civic hatchback, first, remove the inner door panel by unscrewing any screws and carefully prying it off to access the handle mechanism. Disconnect the wiring harness for any power features and remove the retaining bolts or screws holding the door handle in place. Once the old handle is removed, install the new handle by reversing the process, ensuring it is securely fastened and reconnect any electrical connections before reattaching the door panel. Finally, test the handle to ensure it operates smoothly.
