To replace the heater resistor in a 1996 Vauxhall Vectra B, first, disconnect the vehicle's battery to ensure safety. Locate the heater resistor, which is typically found behind the glove compartment or under the dashboard on the passenger side. Remove the necessary panels, then disconnect the wiring harness from the resistor. Finally, unscrew the old resistor, install the new one, and reassemble everything before reconnecting the battery.
