This is not a particularly difficult job but you do need a special tool for the brake caliper pistons..

You need to obviously remove the rear road wheels- then looking at the caliper you will see 2 x 13mm bolts - remove those and the caliper top comes of revealing the pads..

Remove the pads..

Then you need to connect / use the special tool to get the piston to go back into the caliper to allow the fitting of the new / thicker pads..

Do not try levering / forcing the pistons in - you will damage the caliper.. The pistons need pressure but they have to screw in , they have a thread mechanism inside that will be irreparably damaged if forced..

You can buy the tool needed at local car / tool shops - That is an example- when buying , ensure the seller knows the make / model of your car.

Once the pistons are in enough to allow the new pads to fit in - place the pads in the fitting - replace the caliper top and fit the bolts you just removed. Sometimes new bolts come with the new pads, if you have them, fit them. Re fit the road wheels and thats it..job done.
