I have an '89 Bronco, too. :)
The first thing to do is to make sure that your wires go back the same way the went on. You don't want to get your firing order mixed up. You can do this easily with a little masking tape and a sharpie numbering each line. You can figure this out by following each line from your distributor cap down to each plug. They are on the left and right side of your engine below the valve covers next to where the headers attach to the bottom of the engine.
It's a good idea if you're going to replace the plugs to go ahead and replace the wires, too. But replace the wires one at a time!! It's a pain in the rump if you pull them all off and then try to figure out how they go back on. Ask me how I know.
You can find a spark plug socket adaptor at your local auto parts store. you'll need a socket wrench, too. They can be a bear to get to, but it's all just a matter of patience. I would suggest you do them one at a time, plug, then wire... plug then wire... plug then wire and so on.
You also might consider replacing your distributor cap and rotor button, too while you're at it. The cap is the piece that your plug wires attache into, and there is a little nub on the inside that helps you figure out how it goes back on. The rotor button is inside the distributor under the distributor cap. Replace your distributor cap after you replace the plugs and wires. Again, change them from the old to the new, one at a time.
The Haynes manual is a super resource! Mine looks like it was used for toilet paper in a Turkish bathhouse for a year, I've used it so much.
