Prepare to remove the 4 bots mounting the AC at the bottom as this is the only way to get the alternator out. Remove the front passenger wheel for easier access as well. Patience and time is what is needed here. If you are a little sketchy at repair you might want to consider having a mechanic do this. The alternator is around $160 bucks and probably for that much more you should be able to have it replaced. Good luck.
