How do you replace the steering pump on a 1991 Toyota Camry?

You would need to apply the parking brake, jack up/ put on jack stands the r/f wheel. Remove the r/f wheel and plastic trim panel covering the engine/inner wheel well. You would then need to loosen/remove the accessory drive belt. Drain the fluid by disconnecting the Power Steering hoses, use a catch pump to catch the fluid. Unbolt the pump. To install reverse the process, top off the fluid. Start the vehicle and cycle the steering wheel lock to lock a couple times to bleed air from the system. Recheck/top of the fluids as needed until there are no more bubbles and the reservoir is at full.

Jack up and support with a jack stand the passenger front of vehicle. Remove passenger wheel. Remove plastic splash guard (2, 10mm bolts). Remove accessory drive belt, Remove the two bolts that hold the PS pump in place. Remove both PS hoses. Reverse procedure to install. Add PS fluid to reservoir. Run it, rotate steering wheel left and right one turn each way. Shut it down. Check for leaks, Top off reservoir. Done.
