To reset the alarm on a 2003 Chevy Tahoe, first, use the key fob to unlock the doors. If you don't have the fob, insert the key into the driver's side door and turn it to unlock. This should deactivate the alarm system. If the alarm persists, disconnecting the battery for a few minutes can also reset the system.
If the warning lights go off in a Chevy Tahoe, it indicates a problem. In order to reset these lights the problem must be solved.
