Walk? Ride a bike. Dont floor it in your car dont let your car run when not needed.

If in a traffic jam and you are headed down hill at a very slow crawl, shut off the engine and then turn the ignition back on, put the transmission in neutral, and use the e-brake to control your speed as you slowly descend.

Shut off your engine at known long stop lights.

Roll up all windows when going above 50MPH

[Automatic Transmission] Control the accelerator pedal in a way so that you trick the computer into shifting earlier to the next gear when accelerating, so the engine will be running at a lower RPM on average, thus saving gas. For instance, when accelerating and you can hear the engine is at like 2500RPM, and you want it to shift from 3rd to fourth, just ease up on the gas, and then it will shift, and then press back on the gas and it will stay in the higher gear unless you push too far. It takes practice.

Use lighter weight oil than you normally do. This will cause less friction in the engine, saving gas. However, this may be abusive to the engine. Read up on what multi viscosity of oil your vehicle takes and make a comfortable decision.
