To set up a 49cc carburetor, start by ensuring that the carburetor is clean and all components are in good condition. Install the carburetor onto the engine, making sure it’s securely fastened. Adjust the idle screw to set the desired idle speed, and if your carburetor has a mixture screw, turn it to achieve the best performance—usually starting around 1.5 turns out from fully seated. Finally, check for fuel leaks and test the engine to fine-tune the adjustments as needed.
On my 49cc scooter engine the carburetor is found on the engine. The engine is broken down into 3 parts, the part to the left (looking at it) where the air filter is is right next to the carburetor.
You have to clean the carburetor usually that's the main problem

To adjust the float on a Yinba 010DK28 carburetor for a 49cc engine, first remove the carburetor from the engine and take off the float bowl. Check the float’s height by turning the carburetor upside down; the float should be parallel to the carburetor body when the needle valve is closed. If adjustment is needed, gently bend the tang on the float arm until the correct height is achieved. Reassemble the carburetor, ensuring all seals are intact, and test the engine for proper operation.
Set it to exact manufacturer specifications.

To set the idle, adjust the carburetor.
Spark Plug is .043 , set up contact breaker points in distributor. Turn cam to high point. Set points at .015. Adjust automatic advance on distributor ( right or left ) until engine is running smooth. Set RPM on carburetor at 850 RPM. Unplug vaccum from distributor, plug it up. Then, set timing at 10 degrees. Tighten distributor and reinstall back vaccum. If there is a carburetor air screw, turn air screw on carburetor counter clockwise until engine RPM goes up high until it can't go any higher. Then, turn clockwise one half turn and reset back idle to 850 RPM. If it works, email me at singhmaricor @AOL.com Spark Plug is .043 , set up contact breaker points in distributor.
