It is almost always imprinted on the battery next to the posts. If not the positive + post is slightly larger than the negative - post.
The positive side of a car battery is red - look for red plastic cap or the "+" symbol on the plastic next to it. Also the positive post is slightly larger than the negative post.
If you have a post battery(the cable attaches from the top) the positive post is larger than the negative.
down on the passenger side engine or follow the positive side on your battery
With the car or truck running disconnect only the positive side of the battery ... if it stays running that means the alternator is good if it dies then it needs replacing
Just like a top post battery. Connect the positive cable to that positive side post and the negative cable to any metal part of the engine. You can connect to the side post if you just try.
when you buy your car, the battery's potential energy is high in the negative side and weaker in the positive side. when ever you turn on your car, you are displacing some energy from the negative side to the positive side. as time goes on, your battery's potential energy begins to become balanced. that is how your battery loses its power. hope i was helpful :)
All batteries will have clearly marked posts, look for the molded + sign next to it or on the side of the battery. The grounding post will have a negative "-" sign next to it. If connecting your battery to the car, connect the positive post first, then the ground.
It will vary from car to car, but the neg is usually black, and has a "-" sign. Normally the positive terminal is larger than the negative terminal.
The red one ( bigger post ) is positive, the other one goes to a grounded point.
The most common problem from what I can tell is battery failure. This car needs a much stronger battery than a normal car, and they are still working out the technical side of this.
Red is usually battery positive.
you put the red jumper on the posotive side and the black one on the negative battery side. Connect positive of one battery to the positive of the other. Then connect the negative of one to the negative of the other. Red to red, black to black.
