Make SURE the engine is COLD. Then unscrew the old sensor and install the new one. Antifreeze will leak out of the engine so be quit when replacing it.
It depends on which 'sensor' you are replacing. The crankshaft positioning sensor is on the lower left side of the engine, behind the oil filter. The CPS attaches to the bell housing. Search youtube for videos on replacing this particular sensor. Other videos may assist with other sensors.
