Dynamol oil is typically used as a lubricant and is often applied to machinery, tools, and moving parts to reduce friction and wear. To use it, clean the surface to remove any debris, then apply a small amount of Dynamol oil directly to the area needing lubrication, ensuring even coverage. It's important to follow the manufacturer's guidelines for specific applications and usage frequency to achieve optimal performance. Always take necessary safety precautions, such as wearing gloves, when handling the oil.

There isn't one cooking oil that is automatically the best for everyone. The right choice depends on what you're cooking, the temperature involved, the oil's fatty-acid composition and how it has been processed and stored. For Indian cooking, mustard oil, groundnut oil and sesame oil are commonly used options. Rather than choosing an oil only by its colour, smell or price, I would look at both its nutritional profile and the way it is produced. One important distinction is between refined and mechanically extracted oils. Refined oils may undergo processes such as degumming, neutralisation, bleaching and deodorisation. Depending on the production method, solvents may also be used during extraction. These processes are designed to produce oil with particular characteristics, such as a more neutral flavour and colour. Properly manufactured refined oils are not automatically unsafe simply because refining involves processing. Mechanically extracted oils, including cold-pressed oils, are produced by pressing seeds or other oil-bearing materials. They generally undergo less intensive processing, although the actual conditions depend on the equipment and manufacturer. Mechanical pressing can generate frictional heat, so the term cold pressed alone does not tell you the exact temperature reached during extraction. This is something I pay particular attention to in my work with cooking oils. At Pure Tatva, we use what we call a Zero Heat Extraction System for our mustard oil. We control excess seed moisture before pressing, avoid deliberately heating the seeds to increase extraction, and filter the oil to remove suspended particles. Our approach is to pay attention to the complete process, from raw-material preparation to the finished oil. Does that automatically make one oil the best for every cooking method? Not necessarily. The oil's fatty-acid composition, its suitability for the cooking temperature, storage conditions and overall dietary balance all matter. No extraction method alone guarantees that an oil is nutritionally superior in every respect. My practical advice is to choose a good-quality oil suited to your cooking, store it properly, avoid repeatedly overheating or reusing oil, and vary your sources of dietary fats as part of a balanced diet. I’m Ravi Pratap Rana, Founder of Pure Tatva, with 19 years of experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry. My experience has made me interested not just in which oil people buy, but in how that oil is actually produced. Consider its composition, processing quality and intended use before deciding which oil is right for your kitchen.
