The crankshaft position sensor in a 1995 Honda Civic is typically a small cylindrical or rectangular component, often with a plastic or metal housing. It features a connector for the wiring harness and is usually mounted near the crankshaft, often on the engine block. The sensor may have a single or multiple mounting bolts securing it in place. Its purpose is to detect the position and rotational speed of the crankshaft for proper engine timing.
The crank angle sensor is located in the distributor.only in the 94 and 95 Honda accord.
A crank sensor was not USED on a 1995 model.
