Generally, there are two levels on a dipstick. With the car level and the engine hot, the fluid should be up to the "hot" mark. With the car level and cold, it should be to the cold mark.

there's a yellow dipstick towards the drivers side of the car? that's the dipstick for transmission fluid
There is no typical transmission dipstick for this car. The level is checked on an observable reservoir under the hood, on the driver side of the car and fluid is added if needed.
It'll be above the full mark on the dipstick.
The manual transmission doesn't have a dipstick , the fluid level is checked at the fill plug on the transmission underneath the car
If the car is not level, the dipstick may read lower or higher than the actual level, depending on the angle in relation to the dipstick. This can result in too much oil being added, or no too little.
There is no dipstick for a manual. Checked from underneath the car on the upper side of the transmission. Remove plug to check level.
No dipstick on the manual transmission , fluid level is checked underneath the car at the transmission fill plug
To check the transmission fluid level in your car, first ensure the engine is warm and running, and the vehicle is on a level surface. Locate the transmission dipstick, usually found near the back of the engine. Pull out the dipstick, wipe it clean, reinsert it fully, and then remove it again to check the fluid level against the marked indicators. If the level is low, you may need to add the appropriate type of transmission fluid through the dipstick tube.
