Impossible to say. If it was totally rebuilt and done correctly, with proper service it should last as long as a new one. If it is a used transmission, who knows.
I had one rebuilt last year and it cost 1500.00
26 years before it was rebuilt
Have it rebuilt.
It is a transmission that was broken, but is now fixed with new parts.
50,000 miles is usually the average for rebuilt trannys in my experience. Of course there are exceptions like driving it the right way, etc and also getting a good mechanic. But i think 50k is about what you will get. A new tranny direct from the dealer is the better bet. It will cost you an extra $1,000 but it worth it
The transmission could have been rebuilt improperly, or the linkage could have been reinstalled incorrectly.
price
it is cheaper to buy a rebuilt transmission than to have one rebuilt
I had one. I had to have the transmission rebuilt. Nightmare!!
Bad transmission rebuilder
that depends on a few things. the transmission question its self no. it doesn't matter for one becasuse who ever replaced had to replace your original with either the same model of transmission or one that is very muck alike. and yes it can be rebuilt, to out last and out perform the original IF IT IS REBUILT BY A PROFESSIONAL that has all the tooling and equipment that is needed to properly rebuild a transmission. PLEASE DO NOT THROW AWAY YOU MONEY AND TRY TO REBUILT IT YOURSELF.it is very complicated and if you don't believe me then go to auto zone and pick up a rebuild manual for your trans and read the section on your trans
