Bad transmission rebuilder
The transmission could have been rebuilt improperly, or the linkage could have been reinstalled incorrectly.
Yes It Wil If The Vacuum Leak Is In A Hose That Gos To you Transmission
There is no dipstick on 2005 and up Mustang cause there considered sealed transmissions and shouldn't need fluid unless there is a leak.
ABS has nothing to do with the transmission engaging on this vehicle.
Sensors got wet
P0733 = Gear 3 ratio incorrect. Take it back to who ever rebuilt the transmission. They probably used parts that didn't match your original.
One thing that can cause this is a slipping automatic transmission. The clutches do not engage at first letting the engine run free, then they engage suddenly producing a slam or jerk. This will quickly destroy a transmission.
just had a 1998 Honda Accord rebuilt. 5 days later transmission is jerking. I have to take back but want to know what could be the cause. Shift cable adjustment, computer needing relearn, fluid level incorrect, internal problem, etc.
speed sensor on top of transmission,if the speed sensor does not work then the shift inside the trans is broken and trans will need to be rebuilt
Hey Carol===Evidentally something was not put together right. GoodluckJoe
Yes and no it can cause your car to shift rough and sometimes when you put it into D or R it takes a while to engage.
The shift censor could be going bad. There may also be a problem with the transmission linkage which would cause this problem.
