Change at 105,000 miles. Warning: (Interference engine, if the belt breaks serious engine damage will occur)
Every 100,000 miles is recommended.
The lifespan of a car's engine depends on how well you maintain the vehicle, such as regular servicing and oil changes. 200,000 miles is not a problem normally.
The "Dodge" diesel is actually a Cummins heavy truck engine. With proper maintenance, it should last about 250,000 miles. The injectors will need replacing every 100,000 miles. I would say 500,000 is average for the engine. I do not agree about the injectors. The truck will wear out before the engine does.
Defininatly change every 3000 miles no longer.
According to the Gates website ( 120,000 miles )

You should change the oil in a Dodge Dakota every 3000 miles.
Just change the oil/filter every 5,000 miles and you will protect your engine.
look in your owners manual but most new cars go 100,000 miles before the first plug change.

To change the odometer from kilometers to miles in a 2009 Dodge Ram pickup, turn the ignition to the "On" position without starting the engine. Press the gas pedal three times within 10 seconds. This should toggle the odometer display between kilometers and miles. If the change doesn't occur, consult the owner's manual for specific instructions related to your model.
