Transmission Fluid should be checked or changed depending on the manufacturer reccomendations. Some AT transmissions requires changing the oil at 40000km, other at 50000kms. Some like the lastest Toyota models does not require any change at all because of the type of ATF such as WS which does not require any change under normal conditions. Check your dealer or owners manual.
