There is no official set interval for changing the timing belt. Honda is vague about this so you have to use common sense. If your bike is over 6 years old or has over 30,000 miles on the ODO, engine had exceeded 6,000 RPMs, or the belt is noisy, I would highly recommend you change it. Do it wrong and you will have engine damage. Ignore the belt and you will end up with not only a broken belt and engine damage but possibly a serious accident when the belt breaks and possibly locks up the rear tire. This is not a job for a novice. If you have never done it, leave it to someone who has.
How would you change the headlight bulb in a 1987 Honda goldwing? GL1200
The 2003 Honda 2.4 uses a timing chain. The timing chain will last the life of the engine.
150000 miles
I believe that is at 105,000 miles
The mileage that a v6 Honda Accord will need to get its timing belt changed is between 90,000-100,000. However, some mechanics recommend 80,000-90,000 miles.
The timing belt should be changed every 90,000 miles on a 93 Accord.
Never as it should last the life of the engine.
Timing belt. Started from 2006, Honda changed to timing chain.
No, because it does not have a timing belt, it has a chain that should last the life of the engine.
It has a timing chain which should last the life of the vehicle - if the engine is properly taken care of. The earlier models did have timing belts but Honda changed over to chains starting with the 2002 model year.
I just replaced mine at about 95,000 miles.
The timing belt on a 2000 Honda Accord should be changed every 75,000 miles. Failure to change at the appropriate time can result in engine failure.
