The skid plate does not have to be removed in order to access and change the filter.
You have to remove the skid plate, then you can change the oil and filter
located under a black plate in the center of your valve cover on top of engine. remove plate and you will see them there remove them and install new ones.
The oil filter is located (if you're in front of the vehicle looking toward the windshield) to the right lower front of the engine. In order to change the filter you will need to do it from below the engine. You will have to remove the large metal dust plate, which I believe has 5 bolts that hold it in place. Remove the front ones first, then the rear 2. The plate has metal tabs at the front bolt hole locations to hold it in place so it doesn't hit you in the face. Carefully slide the plate toward the rear and lower it to the ground. Now you will have easy access to the oil filter. Hope this helps.

you must first remove the engine then separate the transmission, you can easily remove the bearing then, but since you have access to the clutch, change the clutch and pressure plate at the same time. you can get a total after market kit for about $120.
Remove the lower cover plate on the transmission to engine to gain access to the bolts and remove them. You will have to rotate the flywheel to get to all of them. Remove the driveshaft and drop the transmission.

There is no restrictor plate on this engine. Speed is controlled by the ECU.

well if its the b12 i know then you must open the gearbox as the clucth(and the pressure plate are at the interface of the engine and the gear box then you remove the clucth from the pressure plate and chenge it
To change a door handle on a 2004 Mitsubishi Endeavor, remove the 2 screws of the face plate. Then remove the 2 screws on the knob plate. Remove the door handle and replace with new.
