Yes, by a shop that rebuilds starters.
try changing the battery, your battery might be bad you never know, it might not hold a charge The starter relay needs to have good contact. Even though it may click, the contact is dirty and not good enough to transmit strong electrical power to the starter. Change the starter relay which is connected to the positive cable to the battery. Do not confuse the starter solenoid with the starter relay.
when it no longer works. If it ain't broke don't fix it.
Wired incorrectlyor defective starter solenoid that stuck in closed position
I had the same problem on my 99 and a buddy on his 97.The positive wire harness(the one that hooks to the battery, starter, starter relay, etc) Has a break in it some where.Ours was broke or nearly broke on the starter solenoid. The crimped lug was broken.Sometimes it would start and other times it wouldn't.Check it, It may be the reason. There are no known ways to repair an Ipod battery. You can have the screen repaired or replaced, but the only option you have for a broken battery is to replace it.
It just happened to me a couple days ago..I found that my alternator belt broke and had to be replaced.
This happened to me as well. Don't forget to re-charge the battery as well. Since the belt broke you probably can assume that the alternator stopped charging the battery at least for a moment.
If you are certain the battery has a good charge and the solenoid is good, then your last choice is to remove the starter for a bench test. Hold it firmly on the bench and apply 12 volts from a battery charger for a second or so. Hold negative on the casing and touch pos. to the main terminal.
well it could be 1 of 2 things that i can think of... either the starter gear might be broke or the battery might not have enough juice to turn the motor over Starter bendix defective.
sounds to me like an o2 sensor, although how the hell you managed to break the wire changing the battery is beyond me
at about 60.000ml. the goes bad and need to ba replaced if it broke's its more time and work at about 60.000ml. the goes bad and need to ba replaced if it broke's its more time and work at about 60.000ml. the goes bad and need to ba replaced if it broke's its more time and work at about 60.000ml. the goes bad and need to ba replaced if it broke's its more time and work at about 60.000ml. the goes bad and need to ba replaced if it broke's its more time and work
my ignition is broke and on the on position how can i bypass the ignition n use a toggle for power and a pushbutton to start run thik power wire from positive of battery to starter. then wire from starter to distributer. then run wire inside or vehicle to push start and ground it or run back out to battery to neg. put toggle switch some where in the process to kill it.
